Jesus Christ's Prayer

Jesus Christ's Prayer

IT IS ALL ABOUT LOVE

It Is All About Love

Keep on loving each other as brothers. (Heb 13:1)

Each of our troubles is a stepping stone.

We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up!
Shake it off and take a step up.

(Taken from a story- when a donkey fell into a well and his owner planned to cover up the well because it was just not worth it to retrieve the donkey. So, he and his neighbors each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. Every time when the dirt was poured into the deep well onto the donkey , the donkey just simply shake it off and take a step up ).

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him.
Psalm 62:5

Be a overcomer

1. Free your heart from hatred- Forgive

 2. Free your mind from worries.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

 4. Give more.

 5. Expect less.

Beauty, the kind that the bible talks about is real and unfading and it is not measured by appearance, but by character that is built upon our relationship with God as we go through daily trials, moments of joy and sufferings.

And once it is nurtured on the inside, it automatically reflects on the outside.

It is God’s desire that we may become beautiful witness of His Love and the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

If it is Beauty you want, there is no better way than to go to the Author of Beauty- God Himself.

Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

(God makes His love complete in us.)

We love because He first loved us. God commands us:
“Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”
(1John 4:7-21)

Learn to feed each other, because when Jesus died on the cross, He was thinking about you.

Jesus asked, “Do you truly love me?”

(“Yes Lord, you know that I love you.”)
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”

(“You know that I love you.”)
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”

(“Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”)
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”

“I tell you the truth, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” ( Jhn 21:15-19 )

We may be either led by the Spirit to His Way in times of difficult situation even though that causes pain or is mistreated by the world without any cause.

Or we might be turned away from God’s way to repay evil for evil in such situation as this.

Our LORD wants and desires us to love, just simply love… even without any benefit.

Because God SEES.

esus says, “FOLLOW ME”

As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Now remain in my love.

John 15:9

-Remaining in God’s love means being content- in all things, because the joy of the Lord is in us. The joy is our strength.

He can just simply understand what He is doing, He understands how things had broke us, whether through words or deeds by others.

“Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no
one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”

( Love knows no limit of how much we needed to sacrifice )

( Love knows no limit regarding giving )

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you
to go and bear fruit- fruit that will lasts. Then the Father will
give you whatever you ask in My Name.” “This is my command:
Love each other.” (John 15:9-17)

Without love, no matter what we do, it will have no meaning and it cannot last- it does not have any value in heaven.

“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love,
I am only a resounding gong or clanging cymbal. If I have the gift
of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and
if I have faith that moves mountain, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,
but have not love, I gain nothing.” (1 Cor 13: 1-3)

What really counts is love- pure love.

But eagerly desire the greatest (best) gift- Love.

Love is a gift from God.

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm:

for love is as strong as death;

jealousy is as cruel as the grave:

the coals thereof are coals of fire,

which hath a most vehement flame.

 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it;

if a man would give all the substance of his house for love,

 it would utterly be contempt.

                                                                    (SNS 8:6-7)

Love has no limitations.

Because God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son.
Because Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loves us so much, that He gives His own life.
And now we have eternal life.

Death has been swallowed up in victory. ( 1Cor. 15:54 - 56 )
“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death , is your sting?”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who died for us on the cross.

Love grows, love multiplies, love lasts, love covers all wrongs,
 love gives way to forgiveness.

God is Love. Everyone who believes that Jesus is the
Christ born of God, and everyone who loves the Father
loves his child as well. For everyone who is born of God
overcomes the world, even our faith. Who is it that
overcomes the world?
Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
He who has the Son, has life; He who does not have the
Son of God does not have life. (1Jhn 5:1-12)

Because Jesus said:

“If a man remains in me and I in Him, he will bear much fruit;
apart from Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5

1 Cor. 13:13 And now these three remain :
                              faith , hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

I learned this lesson in one of my most tried moment when going through deep emotional pain and rejection at one time in my life, and I came to the point of asking God to ‘ just leave me alone’.
But God didn’t, He answered back: ‘ climb higher’.

This is what God showed me : -

In every trial and pain , God is watching… and waiting… for the moment
that we stand on our feet again and move on – this is Hope.

Let’s not fall apart in time of pain,

even if we have to lose everything like Job did…….

on the contrary…

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes
on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields
produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stall
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God
                                                            my Savior.
The sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet
like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.
                                                                                               Hab. 3:17-19

Above all else in our day, let God’s peace rules over our
whole being. Determine in our heart that love will be the law
that we will walk in this day. When all other emotions and
sentiments falter and fail, love will still be conquering over all.
Let love not merely be our conduct but our very person.
‘ Carry on by the wings of Love. ’

Praises to the King of Glory !!
