GOD'S ROMANCE

GOD’S  ROMANCE

And God said, Let us make man in Our image, after our likeness:

so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created

he him; male and female created he them.         Gen.1:26,27 KJV

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me,

            and I in you.               St.John 14:20 KJV

Did you hear that..?

The God of the universe desires us to be one with Him.

Can you comprehend how romantic our God is?

Have you come to realize about it?

Do you see God the way He is?

we read from Eze.1-14

1The word of the LORD came to me: 2 “Son of man, confront Jerusalem with her

detestable practices 3and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says to Jerusalem:

Your ancestry and birth are in the land of the Canaanites; your father was an

Amorite and your mother a Hittite.

My translation for verse 2&3 is – Spiritually we are not born of God’s Spirit. We are polluted with the world.  We are of this world and contain all knowledge of men. We are doomed because we are taught by the wisdom of this world and are staying alone without hope.

Verse 3 -In the OT time : the land of the Canaanites ,Amonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and jeebusites – all these refer to nowadays’ comfort of this world:-

All the material things, including human relationship, idolatries and adulteries of this world, and position, earthly possession, idol worship, honor and praise from communities (reputation), etc…anything that takes the place of the Living God within your heart.

When we worship all these idols in our heart instead of looking up to our Creator, we pollute our own soul and thus causes inward and outward sins (eg. envy, factions, dissensions, selfish ambition, fits of rage, jealousy, discord, hatred, witchcraft, debauchery, sexual immorality and impurity ) that definitely will bring us into the judgment of God.

And if we are still not willing to accept the discipline of the Almighty,

those sins will finally destroy us.

And men on earth are getting more and more obvious in their wickedness than ever before.  They are addicted to create all kinds of evil strategies that they can ever think of to destroy one another in order to gain position, and if possible, they desire to have the whole world. Undoubtedly they had lost the senses of being a normal man. It all because of their desire to become gods.. I think..!!      Eccl.7:29 said:

This only have I found: God made mankind upright,

but men have gone in search of many schemes.

But the bible says:

4“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in

             her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues;

5for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remember

                                            her crimes.

6Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for

what she has done. Mix her a double portion from her

                       own cup.

7Give her as much torture and grief as the glory and luxury she

gave herself. In her heart she boasts, ‘I sit as queen; I am not

a widow, and I will never mourn.’

8Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her; death,

mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for the

Amighty is the LORD God who judges her.  Rev.18:4-8

Do you want to choose to keep on holding an invisible ‘bomb’ in your hand, intending to harm people or means to destroy souls..? this would be found even within the church. Read Matt. 13:36-43

Do you prefer to choose to be a shinning light for God to the world in this moment of time, or you want to choose to be a killer and later be throw into hell by the Almighty God when He judge you? Have you ever read Bible..what it said in Matt.10:28 ?

Continued:

4On the day you were born your cord was not cut, nor were you washed with

water to make you clean, nor were you rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths.

5No one looked on you with pity or had compassion enough to do any of

these things for you. Rather, you were thrown out into the open field, for on

the day you were born you were despised.

When God see us in the mess we are in, He look on compassion upon us while the world cares not and looks away from us. After that He shapes and beautifies us and brings us into perfection.

Have you captured His romance!!??

Let’s continue,

6” ’Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your own blood, and as you

lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!” 7I made you grow like a plant of the

field. You grew up and developed and became the most beautiful of jewels. Your

breasts were formed and your hair grew, you who were naked and bare.

In verse 6, have you come to comprehend how powerful it is, when a word is decreed by God. What He decrees and it will be done, right? You know why?

Read John 1:1-18 – Jesus Christ is the Living Word of God and the Light of life. When you receive this Light, you would “Live”. read Eze.37:4-10 and

Continuance,

8” ‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough

for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness.

I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the

sovereign LORD, and you became mine.

What does it mean here ‘I spread the corner of my garment over your nakedness? What do you think God clothes with? God clothes with Light.

Psalm 104:2-

                He wraps himself in light as with a garment;

My vision:

I always think of a vision that God gave me. In the vision there is a very big and long table and seated around the table were all sorts of highly-educated and rich people. And I was standing in a distant at one end of the table, looking pass through all the people sitting at the table, I saw Jesus at the end of the other side, motioning for me to cross over to his side. But as I want to, I realized that I was just wearing  (disreputable) a little clothing only. Somehow God knows my problem to refuse to walk over to him. He spoke right into my heart from where He stood. He said, ‘ Trust me with your first step and I will spread my light over you to cover you’. As I obeyed and trusted what He has said, I scarcely passed through the crowd indistinguishable, without any harm or getting charged. And later God communicated with me: “This is how you are going to live: you walk in my light and under my cares.”

All He wants me to do in my life is to trust Him completely concerning everything.

Till then, the Light is my focus in my life and I search out everything concerning the Light.

Jesus Christ is wisdom and the power of God. He is full of grace and truth. He came as a Light for the world. Read proverbs from chapter 1 – 9  (Holy Bible)

Continuation,

9” ‘I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments

     on you.

10I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put leather sandars on

you. I dress and put leather sandals on you. I dressed you in fine linen and

     covered you with costly garments.

11I adorned you with jewelry; I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around

your neck, 12and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful

  crown on your head.

13So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and

costly fabric and emboldened cloth, your food was fine flour, honey and olive.

You became very beautiful  and rose to be a queen.

14And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because

the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign

     LORD.            Eze.16:1-14

From verse 9-14 - When God picks us, he blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.  And we received redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins. And he lavished on us all wisdom and understanding.

He sent His Spirit to give us new birth into His kingdom, to transform us from glory to glory and from strength to strength till we are changed into the image of Christ.

Only in walking with God closely and intimately, you would fully understand about this.

Only through experience, you would come to understand what this is all about.

Can you see….

God’s emotion..!!??

And behind his emotion, there is romance!!

If you read this bible passage verse by verse, you would see God’s emotion.

You can grasp the other side of God’s anger when we choose rebellion.

2”Rebuked your mother, rebuked her, for she is not my wife, and I am not her

husband. Let her remove the adulterous look from her face and the

                unfaithfulness from between her breasts.

3Otherwise I will stripe her naked and make her as bare as on the day she was

born; I will make her like a desert, turn her into a parched land, and slay her

                                              with thirst.

4I will not show my love to her children, because they are the

                                                       children of adultery.

5Their mother has been unfaithful and has conceived them in disgrace.

she said,’I will go after my lovers, who give me my food and my water, my

wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.’

6Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes;  I will wall her in so that

                                             she cannot find her way.

7She will chase after her lovers but not catch them; she will look for them but

not find them. then she will say, ‘I will go back to my husband as at first,

for then I was better off than now.’

8She has not acknowledged that I was the one who gave her the grain, the new

wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and gold – which they used for

       baal.

9”Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine

when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my linen, intented to

                                                       cover her nakedness.

10So now I will expose her lewdness before the eyes of her lovers; no one

will take her out of my hands.

11I will stop all her celebrations: her yearly festivals, her new moons, her

Sabbath days- all her appointed feasts.

12I will ruin her vines and her fig tree, which she said were her pay from

her lovers; I will make them a thicket, and wild animals will devour them.

13I will punish her for the days she burned incence to the baals; she decked

herself with rings and jewelry, and went after her lovers,

but me she forgot,                   declares the LORD.

14“Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert

                                                   and speak tenderly to her.

15There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the valley of

anchor a door of hope. therefore she will sing as in the days of her youth,

as in the day she came up out of Egypt.

16”In that day,” declares the LORD, “you will call me ‘my husband’; you will

no longer call me ‘my master.’

17I will remove the names of the baals from her lips; no longer will their

                                  names be invoked.

18In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field

and the birds of the air and the creatures that move along the ground.

bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie

                                                    down in safety.

19I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness

and justice, in love and compassion.

20I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the LORD.

After we have been bought back from lust of chasing after false comfort of this world, and if we go astray again, it will be not of worth to do so. Sometimes it could cause us to pay a great prize for our mistake. We might suffer great loss either in emotional pain or physical pain.

This is God’s character: He will never let any sins go unpunished, except

grace will be given, for he is a just God.

Our God is a jealous God who demands

absolutely no worship of other gods, but He alone

                             we worship.

This is my story:

For 10 years I have been dwelling among all kinds of Christian people

in and out of 4 churches. Growing through persecution, accusation,

rejection etc.. And all this might cause me to suffer pain and

loneliness.

Every time, when the heat of those strike get hotter and beyond limit,

my heart would break. When it breaks, my heart would grow very

cold.

And over and over this happened. But every time when this happens,

God used to bring me back until I finally learn to overcome by

focusing on the passion of the LORD.

These are those verses that God showed me and gave me understanding

about His love and concern toward us, so as to bring me back whenever

my heart grows cold. And through each of my experiences, I see into God

deeper, until I sense His emotion.

Through those experiences, I felt that God is continually loving

us passionately. He has never desire to let us go nor is He

willing to give us up. I felt that God is absolutely worthy of our

      love.

The 4th church now is my most favorite and I know God love them too.

Do you want to love God, live for Him and obey His speaking voice..?

So that we can be that bride- ‘the New Jerusalem’ !!

All love for the King of Glory !!
